We are a worship community constantly bridging between old and new, traditional and contemporary. We recognize the diverse and living character of liturgy. We hold a deep appreciation for our Anglican tradition, while opening ourselves to rediscover our Celtic roots, building upon the creativity of the Iona Community. You may well discover the words we pray during our Iona Abbey Eucharist differ from those of the more traditional Anglican Book of Alternative Service, but the structure of gathering in community, hearing God's Word, sharing Communion at the Table, and being sent into the world anchor our worship.
We are committed to:
being co-participants in worshsip
creating safe space that fosters a sense of belonging and inclusivity
encouraging leadership across the generations
Currently, our music team serves on a weekly rotation. Music ranges between traditional choral organ and piano, and guitar-led praise.
